Dr. Joseph L. Albright, Jr. grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He earned his medical degree at UNC School of Medicine in 1982. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Hartford Hospital in 1985 and is Board Certified. Dr. Albright has over 22 years experience in internal medicine, critical care and emergency medicine.

After several years of practice in Northern Virginia, Dr. Albright returned to North Carolina in 1994. Dr. Albright is married and has three daughters. He is an avid reader of military history, loves to watch the History Channel and cheers for the Carolina Panthers. You can often catch him trying to "practice what he preaches" as he runs/walks with his wife and and black lab, Lucy.
